Cait + Colin: Asheville Wedding Photography

It was a beautiful day in the Blue Ridge Mountains for Colin and Cait to tie the knot! The views were epic and the whole crew came to party. Where to even begin...

Let's start with Cait's sweet father who has been saving a bottle of "10 Year Rip" (the infamous and very difficult to commission Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Reserve) for his daughters wedding. The guys couldn't believe it & honestly neither could I! I have been trying to buy one of these bottles for my husband for years!

Also, this wedding- certainly detail worthy content... I meannnn.... Cait- if you want to shift into wedding planning, you will have TONs of clients with these insane and very unique details that made the whole vibe reflect the Gallaghers. We also share something in common, a true love and obsession for the Pittsburgh Steelers with husbands who share a love and obsession for a rival, in her case, Colin is a Cleveland guy and they even threw in a little detail of that on the Pittsburgh cookie table. A little out of order in story telling, but, I also would like to highlight the fact that their favor's were dog treats for the guests pup's and table numbers were named after dogs.

I could go on and on but I will let you get to the good stuff, the preview photo's below! We ended with a sparkler send off and I haven't ever done a sparkler halo on a couple but we went for it and needless to say they nailed it!!!

If you are getting married in the mountains- think of me, I will travel high and low, near or far, with love for elevation and I broke in my new hiking boots at this wedding so I am ready for the next beautiful day to capture and be part of. <3
